In 1983, while based on the island of Cyprus, David received a vision involving the return of the Jewish people to Israel. He saw three sailing vessels: a two-masted schooner (ketch), a mid-size freighter, and the bow of an immense ship protruding out of a misty cloudbank. The ships were overcrowded with suffering humanity: emaciated, disease-ridden, and impoverished Jewish survivors.
