On Monday, February 19, 2007 at 4 am I was awakened by the telephone ringing. My sister, Mallory, was on the other end asking if I had been praying for her. My eyes filled with tears as she began telling me what happened to her the night before. She, her husband, and some friends were at their house drinking. All of the sudden she felt like she was going to die. She went into her bedroom where she experienced an open vision. In the vision, she saw herself sinking into Hell, which she described as a psychotic trip, where your life replays itself over and over again and you literally drive yourself crazy thinking of all the chances you have had to get right with God.

She began pleading with God for her life. She said, "God, I cannot die. I have to stay here for my kids." The vision continued. Then she pleaded, "God, I cannot die I have to stay here with my husband." Finally she cried out, "God, I cannot die I have to tell people about you!"  Immediately she was released from Hell and God began walking her through her whole life unfolding her calling and our calling as a family. A few days later, her husband got saved as well and they are starting a new life together with Jesus.

I got saved seven years ago in my living room and God promised me that my whole family would be saved. In 2005, I felt the leading of the Holy Spirit to go through the discipleship training school in Cyprus. I made the choice to lay down my friends, family, calling, and life in consecration to the will of God. I am now in my third year with Gateways Beyond and can honestly say, God has done more in the last few years that I have been away than in all the years I was home. There is no better place than in the will of God!
